This year’s theme, ((STEREO)), centers on the idea that depth, resonance, and meaning emerge through interaction. Just as stereo sound brings distinct signals together to create dimension, the auction invites guests to experience and celebrate art from multiple perspectives: visual, conceptual, and communal. The theme highlights what unfolds when passions and purpose overlap.

((STEREO)) is the conceptual and aesthetic framework for our 43rd Annual Benefit Art Auction. It draws attention to the layered exchanges that shape creative work, from the relationship between issues, ideas, images, and materials to the dialogue between artists and the communities who encounter their work. Our theme claims the space where creation becomes conversation, and where artist and audience shape one another.

This year’s metaphorical theme reflects KCAC’s mission to support artists by fostering exchange, dialogue, and sustained relationships. It shapes the aesthetics, environment, and experience of the event without limiting or influencing the artworks themselves.
