We are beyond thrilled to recognize Stretch and Rebecca Ederer as the Honorary Chairs for the 43rd Annual KCAC Art Auction!
Stretch, owner of Grinders and a recognizable TV personality, is also an established sculptor whose work includes large-scale pieces installed throughout Kansas City and beyond. His career spans the restaurant industry, public art, and media, reflecting a wide range of creative pursuits. Rebecca Ederer, owner of Beco Flowers, has also contributed to Kansas City’s arts ecosystem by hosting two separate gallery spaces within her floral studio. By hosting these spaces, she provided opportunities for artists to show their work and engage with new audiences.

We’re thrilled to spotlight Madeline Brice as this year’s honorary artist for the 43rd Annual KCAC Art Auction!
Madeline Brice is a multidisciplinary artist whose work often explores memory, identity, and the shifting boundaries between the personal and the collective. Her practice spans painting, installation, and mixed media, with exhibitions throughout the region and growing recognition for her thoughtful, introspective approach.
As this year’s honorary artist, Brice represents a new generation of Kansas City creatives who are expanding the conversation around contemporary art in the Midwest.

Aaron Dougherty is a Kansas City–based photographer whose work frequently examines the built environment and the shifting character of urban spaces. For this year’s auction theme, STEREO, Dougherty is contributing a 3D stereoscopic photograph of Kansas City’s urban landscape—an image that plays with depth, duality, and perception. His piece reflects the idea of “stereo” as both a technical process and a way of seeing, offering viewers a layered look at the city’s architecture and atmosphere.

ART is the star of the Kansas City Artists Coalition’s Annual Art Auctions. Without stellar art from artists working in different styles, techniques and mediums we can not have a fabulous event that helps to introduce patrons and collectors to Artists practicing across Kansas City and the region.
It is through the generosity and support of our artists that we are able to have an Auction that our community has attended for almost four decades. A BIG THANK YOU to the artists that participate each year and help us in our mission of supporting artists at every level of their career!
Auction Preview & Buyouts
Thank you to all the artists who donated to this year’s Auction!
Artworks included in the 2025 KCAC 42nd Annual Auction will be available for preview and BUY OUTs from January 17 - February 19th. Bidding on all Auction pieces (LIVE & SILENT) will be closed when a BUYOUT is made.
A BUYOUT allows bidders to instantly purchase an artwork prior to the auction. The BUYOUT price is listed for each artwork and determined by KCAC. You may make a BUYOUT online or at the KCAC gallery. Available from Jan. 17th – Feb. 19th, during the Auction Preview, and at the Sweet Peek Reception on Feb. 19th from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
