The Kansas City Artists Coalition (KCAC) Central States Regional Exhibition is a juried exhibition designed to highlight outstanding contemporary artwork being produced throughout the Central States region of the United States. Open to artists at all stages of their careers, the exhibition seeks to foster regional dialogue, expand visibility for artists working outside major coastal art centers, and strengthen artistic connections throughout the Midwest.

The exhibition will feature work from artists residing in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Through a rigorous jurying process led by Alice Gray Stites, (Former Museum Director and Chief Curator of 21c Museum Hotels, and currently director of AGrayStites Projects), the exhibition aims to present work that demonstrates exceptional visual, conceptual, and technical merit across a broad range of contemporary practices.

KCAC’s goal is to position the Central States Exhibition as a leading regional exhibition opportunity that supports artistic excellence, community engagement, and cross-state cultural exchange.
