Participate in the whole Open Studios experience! Either weekend, come down to the Kansas City Artists Coalition and leisurely browse through the artwork of local artists participating in Open Studios. Art is for sale, and admission is free. Find out which artists you want to visit.
Exchange ideas about art with the Kansas City Artists Coalition staff, they have years of experience with Kansas City artists and can answer your questions if you are ready to start or add to your personal art collection.
Interact with artists and learn about their mediums and their methods. Many locations have several artists. On Weekend One, several artists will be eager to meet you at the Underground Gallery, and groups such as The Arts Incubator in the Crossroads District and The Hobbs Building in the West Bottoms also have multiple artists. On Weekend Two you can find group spots at places such at ARTichokes, Buena Vista Studio, and Harder Performance.
Satisfy your hunger and thirst by relaxing in an urban atmosphere. Sip some wine or grab a sandwich and coffee while you browse through the Open Studios publication “ARTNOW The Guide To Kansas City Artists” a full color book featuring the participating artists with photos of their work. Pick which artists you want to see next.
